Google Purchase of Digg Updates
Its all over, google’s rumoured purchase of digg.com a popular social network site for about 200m dollars.
The site had been getting its revenue from the ad deal signed with microsoft. Buying off digg would mean the cancellation of the deal.
With the coming of knol.google.com a replacement of wikipedia, the purchase of youtube and now the likely digg clears shows that google is out to social networking.
